4 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 c. broken pecans

Directions:
Directions:
1. Slowly heat 1 cup sugar in heavy skillet, stirring constantly until it is melted and browned (carmelized).

2. In a large saucepan, combine remaining 3 cups sugar, milk, corn syrup. Bring to a boil. Stir in carmelized sugar and cook over low heat to soft ball stage. (238 on candy thermometer).

3. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Let cool. Add vanilla and pecans. Beat until creamy and thick. Pour into greased 11x15 pan. Let cool.
