2 c. sharp cheddar, shredded
1 T. flour
3 c. cooked chicken, chopped
2 c. celery, sliced
3/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted
1 c. mayonnaise
1 T. lemon juice
1 t. dried oregano
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
pastry for 9 " pie

Directions:
Directions:
Toss 1 1/2 c. cheese with flour. Mix in chicken, celery, 1/2 c. almonds, mayonnaise, juice, and seasonings. Place pastry in pie plate & flute. Fill with chicken mixture. Top with remaining cheese & almons. Sprinkle with additional oregano. Bake at 400 for 30 - 35 minutes.
