1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. shortening
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 3/4 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add raisins and gradually add milk, stirring lightly with a fork. Turn batter into a 6 c. casserole dish that has been sprayed. Mix last three ingredients and pour over the batter. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes and serve warm.
