1 lb. sifted powdered sugar (about 4 c.)
1 tbsp. powdered meringue powder
1 c. white Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together powdered sugar and meringue powder. Set aside. Cream together Crisco, vanilla and water. Gradually add powdered sugar mixture at medium speed until thoroughly blended and creamy. DO NOT TURN MIXER TO HIGH. This will create air bubbles. If it gets too thick, add a little water. (No more than 1 tbsp.)

This is a favorite cookie icing of ours. We use decorating bags and the star tip to decorate our cookies. YUM!!
