1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg Tbsp shortening
3 eggs
3 tsp baking powder
1 lb pecans
1/2 lb citron cut very fine
1 qt molasses
2 tsp each cinnamon, nutmeg & cloves
flour to handle (3 lb or more)

Directions:
Directions:
Toss citron in a little of the flour and process in food processor. Set aside. Process pecans in food processor. Mix dry ingredients well. Mix sugar, shortening, and eggs together. Add dry ingredients, citron, pecans and flour. Mix well. Roll out and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes on greased cookie sheets.
