3 large eggs
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp sweet butter
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 c. shelled pecans
1 9" unbaked deep dish pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together eggs, dark brown and white sugar, syrup and vanilla. Set aside. In a double boiler, melt butter and chocolate together. Allow to cool down about 2 minutes. Fold chocolate mixture into egg mixture. Add pecans and pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes or until knif inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
