1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 c. flour sifted
1 tsp soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Beat in sugar, eggs, sour cream and flavoring. Mix and sift together dry ingredients. Add to wet ingredients. Mix well and chill. Roll very thin on pastry cloth with a stockinette over a rolling pin. Take part of dough out and replace rest in refrigerator until ready to roll. Sprinkle sugar on cookies before baking. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
