8 c. Original or Cinnamon Quaker Oat Squares cereal (1 16-oz box)
2 c. pecan peices
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 250. Bombine cereal and pecans in 13"x9" pan; set aside.

2. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and margarine in 2 cup microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 1/2 minutes; stir. Microwave 1/2 to 1 1/2 minutes more or until boiling. Stir in vanilla and baking soda and pour over cereal mixture; stir to coat evenly.

3. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread on baking sheet to cool; break into pieces.
