3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup butter
1 cup shredded sharp chddar
7 medium granny smith apples
6 T water
1 T lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, salt & flour. Cut in butter until it becomes a course powder. Mix in cheese and set aside. Peel and slice apples in sorta bite size pieces. Combine apples with the water and lemon juice and toss lightly. Spoon into a greased 8" square baking dish. Sprinkle cheese mixture over apples and pat gently. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
