1 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup water
3 egg whites
6 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first three ingredients until clear and slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Beat 3 egg whites, gradually add 6 tablespoons of sugar; beating well after each addition, until soft peaks form. Slowly pour cooked mixture into the beaten meringue, using mixer. Beat until stiff peaks form. Pile on top of cooked filling. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes or until brown.
Note: This meringue is great!. Does not weep and holds up well.
