2 c water
1 c oatmeal
3 Tablespoons butter
1 pkg yeast
1/3 c water
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 c brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
4 - 5 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the 2 c water & oatmeal per package. Dissolve the yeast in the warm 1/3 c water and teas. of sugar. Mix oatmeal with yeast, and brown sugar, salt,and butter. Stir well and add enough flour gradually to make a springy dough. Knead till smooth. Place into a greased bowl turning to grease top. Cover and let rise about 1 hour. Shape into rolls & place in a greased pan, let rise again. Bake at 350 - 375 degrees for 20 - 25 min.

Myrna is my cousin on my moms side. She came here to visit from Michigan and made these rolls and they're delicious.
