Fresh Green Beans
1 quart =
1/8 Tsp. Black Pepper
1/8 Tsp. Fresh Dill
1-2 cloves fresh garlic
1 dryed cayenne pepper
Brine:
4 cups white vinegar
6 cups water
1/2 Tbsp. Sugar
1/2 cup pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch the green beans for about 1 minute. Then put into ice water. Stuff jars with beans, pepper, dill, garlic, and cayenne pepper. Boil the brine, and pour into jar until full and then seal. Allow 6-8 weeks before opening. These jars must seal for safe eating.

The brine is for about 6-10 quarts. The spices are for 1 quart. This can also be used for asparagus. Cut the tough ends off, and blanch.
