3 ripe bananas
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening (or butter)
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, drop creamed bananas and the above ingredients, mix together.

Bake in greased loaf pan for one hour @ 325-350.

In 6th grade in 4-H, I won both a Fremont County Fair and Idaho State Fair Blue Ribbon with this banana bread. Enjoy!
