1 medium head of cabbage (white and red combination)
Salt
1 1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 t celery seed
1 t white mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Grate cabbage and cover with 1 scant tablespoon salt and let stand 2 hours. Drain well. Cook remaining ingredients together slowly. Boil 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool. Pour over cabbage and let stand 24 hours before serving. This will keep in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks. Also freezes well.
