1 1/4c. butter, softened

2c. sugar

2 eggs

2tsp. vanilla

2c. flour

3/4c. cocoa

1tsp. baking soda

1/2tsp. salt

1 (10oz) package REESE"S peanut butter chips

Preheat oven to 350.

In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.

Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually blend into butter mixture. Stir in chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 8-9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff while baking and flatten while cooling).

Cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
