Blueberry-Walnut Bread Pudding Recipe

8 c French bread in 1" cubes, 5 eggs, 1/2 c sugar, 1 t nutmeg, 3 c of half & half, 3 c fresh or frozen blueberries, 1 c chopped walnuts, 1/4 c butter, 1/2 c brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put bread in large bowl. Whip eggs, sugar and nutmeg until blended. Add cream, stir, and pour over bread. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
In morning, mix 1 c blueberries into bread mixture. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan, sprinkle remaining blueberries on top and then walnuts.
Melt butter and brown sugar in pan until bubbles. Pour over the blueberries and walnuts.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until firm.
Serve with blueberry syrup, or whipped cream, or cream, or even ice cream.
