Mix together:
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten

Stir in:
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. applesauce

Topping (mix together):
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips or mini M&Ms, etc.

Place mixture in greased and floured 9x13" pan. Sprinkle topping on. Bake at 350 F for 30-40 minutes.
