2 c. nine-bean mixture
1 qt. water
1 lb. ham, diced
1 large onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 - 16 oz. can tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Sort & wash bean mixture. Cover in water & soak overnight. Drain beans,add 2 quarts of water & ham, onion, salt & pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low for 1 1/2 hours or until beans are tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
