5-6 tart apples (Granny Smith) peeled and sliced
1/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp. cinnamon
6 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix topping before slicing apples!
For topping mix sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Cut in softened butter and grated cheese. Set aside.
Dice apples into baking dish. Mix water and lemon juice and pour over apples.
Press topping over apples. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
