Steak pounded very well. ( my mom had a metal pounder, I now have it)
garlic salt
salt & pepper
flour to coat the steak

Directions:
Directions:
Take the well pounded meat and dredge into the flour. Fry the meat in a hot pan with 1/2 inch oil in it. Cook till your doneness, and remove from pan. Save the drippings in the pan and make white gravy. ( the recipe is in this book)
Serve with mashed or boiled potatoes and gravy over all.

This is the only way my mom (Irene Crum) could get me to eat meat. We only had wild game. I really didn't then, and don't now, care for much meat. However, this is better than most.
