1/2 stick butter
2 large onions sliced
4 cans beef consumme'
French bread
Mozzarella cheese or Provolone

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in pan and saute' onions until soft. Then add the soup and simmer about 30 min. Put into individual soup crocks and lay a piece of bread on top. Top this with mozzarella cheese and put under the broiler until cheese is melted or toasted a little bit.
