1 package (18 1/4 oz) spice cake mix
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. molasses
7 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, ginger and baking soda. Add water, molasses and vanilla; mix well. Roll into balls of desired size. Place on greased cookie sheet or baking stone; flatten slightly with a floured glass bottom. Bake in a preheated 375 oven until surface cracks and cookies are firm (time depends on size). Cool on wire rack.
