2 Cups Milk
1/3 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Bread Cubes
2 TBSP. Butter
1 Large Apple, Peeled, Cored, and Thinly Sliced

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in bread and let stand for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, place butter in baking sidh and heat in oven until melted; swirl to cover bottom of dish. Pour in bread mixture. Top with apples, pushing sliced down into bread mixture. Bake in oven for 40 minutes or until puffed and browned. Serve warm.
