Crust:
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Cream cheese layer:
1 - 12-ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 - 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup confectioners sugar

Top fruit layer:
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries, cherries, strawberries or fruit of choice, drained, if frozen
1 cup liquid, juice plus water to make 1 cup

Crust:
Stir together first 4 ingredients with a fork until crumbly. Press into a lightly greased 13 X 9-inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool in pan.

Cream cheese layer:
Beat whipped topping, cream cheese and confectioners sugar at medium speed with mixer until smooth. Spoon over prepared crust. Cover and chill.

Top fruit layer:
Stir together sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Whisk in 1 cup liquid - do not exceed 1 cup - until smooth. Stir in blueberries and bring to a boil. Boil, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
Serves 15.
