1 tbsp. butter
4 to 6 chicken breasts
1 onion, chopped
6 carrots
3 - 16 oz. cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken until tender. Save broth. Pull chicken off into bite-size pieces.
Saute' onion and carrots in 1 tbsp. butter.
Add chicken broth, chicken, and 2 cans of beans. Cook for 20 minutes on low. Stir occasionally.
Mash one can of beans in a bowl. Whisk together flour and milk; stir into mashed beans. Slowly add to soup mixture. Stir and continue to cook soup for 10 minutes or until thick.
