1/2 c butter
8 oz cream cheese, softened
3 tbs butter, melted
1 med onion, minced
1 lb chicken livers
3 tbs brandy
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp dry mustard
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cream/whip together butter and cream cheese. Set this aside. In frying pan melt 3 tbs butter, add onion and chicken livers. Saute over medium heat until the livers can be easily cut with a spoon (still pink inside). Add the brandy and heat until bubbly. Cook over high heat 1 minute to reduce liquid. Put liver mixture into blender. Add the garlic, cloves, mustard, salt & pepper. Puree until smooth. Add the butter & cheese mixture & blend thoroughly. Refrigerate 1 hour. Garnish with stuffed olives and serve with garlic toast or crackers.
