4 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 to 3 heaping tbsp. flour
1 c. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
2 to 3 c. cold water
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat bacon drippings, adding flour, salt, and pepper. Stir, being careful that you do not burn mixture. Cook until browned. Add tomatoes and water and stir. Reduce heat, and cook on low about 30 minutes.
