8 C whole oats
6 C wheat flakes
2 C wheat germ
2-3 C shredded coconut
2-4 C wheat bran
1 1/4 C brown sugar
2 tsp salt

1 C oil
1/2 C honey
1 C water
2 Tbsp vanilla

1 C raisins (opt)
1 C nuts (opt)

Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. (You can replace the 6 cups of wheat flakes with oats, making it 14 cups of oats) Combine liquid and add to dry mixture. Coat evenly. Fill 2 cake pans. Bake at 225 for 2 hours, stirring every 1/2 hour. If you wants raisins or nuts, add them at the end and bake 15 more min.

My mom made this a lot when I was a kid and it is tasty & filling. The challenge is finding a container big enough to "coat evenly" without coating everything!
