2 cups of crackers
1/4 cup of margarine
1 egg
2 cups of thinly sliced onions (about 3 mediums sized)
2 Tbs of margarine
3/4 cup of milk
2 slightly beaten eggs
Dash of salt and pepper
1/2 cup of grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the cracker crumbs with the margarine and egg. Press and form the mixture with fork into a 9-inch pie plate for pie shell. Cook the onions in the margarine on the burner, separate onion into rings and cook until tender but not brown. Place onions mixture into shell. Mix milk, eggs and salt and pepper and pour over the onions. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
