BASE:
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 squares melted semi-sweet baking chocolate
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 c. flour
FROSTING:
2 T. butter
1 T. milk
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. peppermint extract
TOP LAYER:
1 square melted semi-sweet baking chocolate
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
BASE: Combine eggs, butter and sugar. Beat well. Add melted chocolate and extract and stir until blended. Add flour, mix well. Pour into a greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
FROSTING: Blend butter and milk. Add sugar and extract. Spread over cooled, baked base. Chill.
TOP LAYER: Blend melted chocolate and butter, and then spread over frosting. Chill and cut into small squares.
