1 c. well dried bread crumbs
milk
pinch of salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Cover bread crumbs with enough milk to soften them. Let stand overnight. In the morning add salt and sugar and beat until smooth. Add eggs. Drop by spoonful on hot griddle. Turn to brown other side. Serve with butter and syrup. Better than French toast.
