Mom's Pecan Pie Recipe

1 1/2 c. Karo syrup (light)
1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. margarine
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
1 frozen 9 inch pie shell

In a saucepan, combine the syrup, sugar and margarine; bring to boil. Boil gently, uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool slightly.
Place pecans in bottom of the pie shell.
Combine eggs, vanilla, salt; Pour syrup into egg mixture and mix well.
Pour over nuts
Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes or till done.
