1 c. onion finely chopped
1 c. celery finely chopped
3-4 c. potatoes diced
3 cans clam juice ( reserve clams for later )
1 1/2 t. salt
1 t. garlic powder
pepper to taste
1 t. red wine vinegar
2 cubes butter 3/4 c. flour
1 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. salt
1 qt. half & half or cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a small sauce pan, place first 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil & reduce to a simmer till veggies are tender.

In a large heavy pan, melt butter, add flour, garlic powder, & salt to make a soft paste.
Add half & half slowly& stir until thick.
Add reserved clams.
Stir & heat through.
Serve immediately, Do not simmer.
If too thick, add more milk to desired consistency.

Garnish with dill weed.
