1 box butter pecan cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine
1 egg
1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 tsp. margarine or butter
3 eggs, well beaten
2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix cake mix, butter, and egg well. Put into a 9x13 baking pan making sure to bring mixture up the sides of the pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Set aside for filling.

Mix the remainder of the ingredients well. Pour on crust. Bake for 30 minutes. Cut into squares while warm. Cool thoroughly and enjoy.
