1/3 cup apple juice
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium)
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1-2 tbsp finely grated fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 salmon fillets

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients listed above. Reserve 1/2 cup of the liquid for basting; cover and refrigerate. Pour remaining marinade into a large dish. Add salmon; turn to coat. Refrigerate for several hours. Drain and discard marinade from the salmon dish. Broil or grill salmon, basting with reserved marinade. Broil approximately 10 - 15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Tip: To reap the health benefits of salmon, make sure to purchase wild caught fish, preferably from the Pacific/Alaska. This sauce is much healthier than store-bought teriyaki, with no artificial flavors or added corn syrup.
