2 c. scalded milk( you can use powdered if you like)
1/2 c. butter, melted in scalded milk
1 c. sugar
2 well beaten eggs
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. yeast dissolved in 1/3 c. tepid water with 1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. gluten (you buy this at most stores )
5 1/2 c. flour or enough to make a soft dough

Mix well. I use my Kitchen Aid or Bausch Mixer with dough hook. Let rise until doubled in bulk (about 1 hour).
punch down. Let rise again until doubled in bulk (about 30 to 45 minutes). Punch down and roll out.
Divide in two. Roll in rectangle. Spread with butter, sprinkle generously with brown sugar (I like raw sugar), cinnamon, raisins or chopped nuts. Roll out and slice about 1 1/2 inch rolls. Place on greased or sprayed cookie sheet. Let rise about another 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, until very light brown. Will dry out if cooked too long.
Follow same procedure but use orange filling:
1/2 c. butter, softened,
3/4 c. sugar not melted
Grated rind of 1 orange
I double this recipe and I'm generous. If I have any left, I spread
it on top of the rolled up rolls
Optional - you can glaze with:
1 c. powdered sugar 2 tbsp. orange juice concentrate
Melt 1/2 c. butter
Stir In: 1/2 c. corn syrup
1/8 c cream
Heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour in bottom of 8" pan and add the rolled cinnamon rolls bake as you would cinnamon rolls, test with toothpick if not done cook a little longer. Cool 5 min.and turn out on plate. Gooey and good
