2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup sweet or sour milk
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
5 cup flour

1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
No directions were given. Try the following:
Cream the shortening and sugar; add the eggs and cream until light and fluffy. Add the milk and vanilla; mix in. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Gradually mix into creamed mixture. Fold in raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased(?) cookie sheet. Bake in 350F oven for ~ 10-12 minutes.
