2 c. white sugar (I Use Only Cane Sugar In All My Recipes )
3/4 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. butter (no margarine)
2 c. cream
2 tsp. pure vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large, heavy-bottom saucepan on low heat, combine sugar with Karo syrup, butter, and 1 cup of cream. Bring to boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually add the remaining 1 cup cream. Cook to hard ball (252), stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour at once into well-buttered square pan.
