Drain all of the following:
1 can green Lima beans
1 can white Lima beans
1 can red kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 can pork and beans

1 large can Boston Baked Beans
1/2 lb. chopped bacon
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
liquid smoke, to taste (try to get one at the health food store)
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp prepared mustard

Brown and saute bacon and onions.
Mix all and put in a well greased large oven proof dish with lid. Bake at 250 degrees for 4-5 hours.
Watch it! If it seems like it is cooking too fast for your oven, turn it down, or vice versa.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The secret is long and slow cooking.
Of course you must use a bean pot, if you would be so lucky as to have one. The bean pot is made so that the heat is held in the pot. My pot is one that Michael John made for me. This pot makes great beans!!
