Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix (no pudding)
1 stick of softened margarine
4 eggs
3/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup granulated sugar

Swirl mixture:

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons brown sugar
Optional glaze:

1/2 stick melted margarine
1 1/2 to 2 cups powdered sugar
small amounts of milk until desired consistency is reached
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the swirl mixture ingredients together & set aside.
If using a glaze, mix the glaze ingredients together & set aside.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, grease and flour a 9x13" cake pan.
Mix together all the cake ingredients.
Pour half of the cake batter in the prepared cake pan.
Sprinkle half of the swirl mixture on top of the first layer of the batter. Swirl this mixture with a knife to create a decorative pattern.
Pour the other half of the cake batter on top of the first layer.
Sprinkle the remaining half of the swirl mixture on top of the second half of the batter. Swirl this mixture with a knife to create another decorative pattern.
Bake about 25-30 minutes testing the cake so that it is done.
When done, remove from the oven & let cool completely on a cooling rack. Then, optionally, drizzle the glaze mixture over the entire top of the cake.
Refrigerate & serve.

One way to test a cake:
A toothpick inserted in the cake's center should come out dry when the cake is done.
