Ingredients: 1.5 lbs. ground beef 2 chopped onions 1 small chopped green pepper 5 slices bread 2/3 cups water 1.5 tsp. salt dash of pepper 1 clove minced garlic 2 T. chopped parsley 1 T. Worcestershire sauce

Directions: |
Directions:Combine ingredients and mix well. Line bottom and sides of loaf pan with meat mixture. Fill center with onion stuffing. Cover stuffing with remaining mixture. Bake in over at 350º until meat starts to brown. Cover with sauce made with 1 cup tomato sauce, and 3 tablespoons butter. Bake 1 hour. Makes 6 servings.
ONION STUFFING:
3 large onion slice 1.5 pounds mushroom sliced 1.5 cups soft bread crumbs 2 T. chopped parsley 2 T. water 5 T. butter 1 teaspoon mint 1/4 tsp. salt Dash of pepper
Cook onions and mushrooms slowly in melted butter until trasparent; add remaining ingredients. Saute until slightly brown. |
