3 eggs separated (chill whites while mixing pie filling) 1 can sweetened condensed milk Juice of 2 lemons Zest of one lemon Pinch of salt 1 box vanilla wafers
Beat egg yolks while gradually adding remaining ingredients except wafers. Crush enough wafers to cover bottom of pie pan. Mash firmly with fork into bottom of pan. Beat chilled egg whites until stiff. Gently pour pie filling over crust then top with meringue. Chill before serving.
