1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained & rinsed
2 rounded Tbsp tahini sesame paste (dairy, health food or specialty foods section - small glass "mayonnaise" jar)
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 Tbsp crushed garlic
3 Tbsp lemon juice (or 1 medium fresh lemon, juiced)
ground peppercorn
3 Tbsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)

Directions:
Directions:
Place ingredients in food processor bowl. Grind ingredients into a smooth paste adding EVOO one Tbsp at a time. For a lighter dish can substitute water, vegetable or chicken broth instead of olive oil (olive oil best choice chicken broth runner up; use oil or vegetable broth to serve as vegetarian dish).

Modifications
Add 1/4 Cup fresh cut chives, eyeball (use scissor to cut chives directly into processor bowl).
Add 1/4 Cup sun-dried tomatoes, not in oil
Add both chives and sun-dried tomatoes (Makes festive holiday appetizer to add both.)
