4-5 lb. chicken
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
Boiling broth(after chicken is cooked)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover chicken with water in a large pot or slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Cook until done.
Take chicken out, cook slightly and dice or shred. Return to broth.
Dumplings: Mix flour with 3/4 tsp. salt, then add enough broth to make a soft dough. Roll on a floured board, cut into thin strips and put them into boiling broth.(can drop dumplings by teaspoon) Cover and cook about 15 minutes till thick.
