2 c. of plain flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. Wesson oil
1/2 c. milk

For the rest:

1 chicken boiled and deboned (cooked in salt)
chicken and broth should be about 10 cups
black pepper
butter (1/2 to whole stick)
2-3 boiled eggs, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup

For the dumplings: Mix first four ingredients well until it looks like course meal. Add milk. Roll out real thin and cut in small pieces. Save enough dough for crust.

For the rest: Bring chicken, broth, pepper, butter, and cream of chicken soup to a boil. Add dumplings a few at a time being careful not to stir. When dumplings are done, add eggs. Roll out dough for crust and brown. Rub butter over top.
