CARAMEL SAUCE FOR TOP OF PIE:

2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup peach juice or Apple Juice
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1 tablespoon of cinnamon ( if using on apple pie or apple dumplings)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients, cook for 1 minute. Cool to lukewarm. Pour over the dessert when serving.

You might want to double this recipe.

When I make Apple Dumplings this sauce is heavenly on them. Aunt Vera( Ross's brother Heber's wife) use to make this sauce. YUMMY
