6 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. grits
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 garlic clove, chopped
very small pinch of cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook grits according to the directions on box using ingredients listed above. Add garlic, salt and pepper while grits are cooking. When grits are done, add butter and cheese. Allow grits to cool slightly before adding beaten eggs. Pour mixture into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
