1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 to 1 1/4 c. ripe bananas
1/2 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Slowly add to the butter and sugar mixture. Beat in egg, bananas and nuts. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.

If desired, you may substitute the 1 3/4 c. flour with 1 1/2 c. flour and 1/4 c. wheat germ.
