1 pint fresh strawberries; halved
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. butter
Waffles or pancakes

Directions:
Directions:
Place strawberries in blender; cover and process until smooth. Pour into a saucepan; add sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice and butter. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 1 minute. skim off foam. Strain seeds if desired. Serve over waffles or pancakes. Keep leftovers in refrigerator.
