3 lbs. potatoes
6 slices bacon
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp celery seed
dash of pepper
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash potatoes, pare and slice thinly. Cover potatoes and boil in salt water until tender. Drain and set aside.
In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp; remove and drain. Cook and stir onions in bacon drippings until tender and golden brown. Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring until bubbly. Remove from heat, stir in water and vinegar. Reheat to boiling, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Crumble bacon and slowly add potatoes and bacon into the hot mixture. Stir lightly to coat the potatoes and heat thoroughly. Serve warm.

Can use crock pot. Place cooked potatoes and crumbed bacon in crock. Add hot mixture, stir to coat the potatoes. Cook on low 4/6 hours.
